AND THE WORDSMITHS OF MELBOURNE: Kathryn Hamann, Cameron Semmens, Marlene Marburg, Sue Donnelly, Janette Fernando, Catherine Barnard and Jean Sietzema-Dickson who will be reading poetry including poems from their new coffee-table book about Melbourne Reflecting on Melbourne : a vision of Melbourne through the eyes of some of its poets and artists.
Anne M Carson is a writer of prose and poetry. She is widely published, broadcast on community radio, and has curated two PoeticA programmes. She is most happy when she is creating. Her most recent project was organising a poetry soiree on Herring Island, raising funds for the Yarra Riverkeepers. She also teaches Creative Writing and is a visual artist working with photography and botanical specimens.
